Advisory Team
DJ Xsjado - Theres something about a good song that really connects with me. You would never have heard this from me a few years ago though. I never really liked music in my past. I just wasnt interested in it. I guess I never really understood its significance in life. Now I realize that there were many other things I didnt understand. I never was a "church boy" while growing up, as the church my grandma went to never was interesting to me. althought I did like the cool sounds that came from the organ. Thats what I remember most about that church- the organ. It was different. Its funny how music ties so tightly with this thing called "church." It wasnt untill around 7th grade was i taken to a church that had a BAND. This "worship" music, it was of a different kind. it spoke of the promises of this "God." How he loves me, and how he would do anything to make sure I was his. This music spoke to me in a way that I have never heard the words of God before. I wanted a part of that worship that I could give back to the Lord. Something was calling me. I began to understand this whole deal called Christianity, and realized that i have been longing that exact thing forever, not the religion- as that isnt important- But to know the God behind it. I found Jesus, and it was the most beautiful song ever.
